Infrared saunas use dedicated heaters to emit radiant heat within the cabin. Rather than relying solely on heating the surrounding air, infrared energy is delivered from panels positioned around the seating area.

The result is a controlled heated environment created through the sauna's infrared system, with temperature, heater configuration and cabin design varying between models.

02 — COLD IMMERSION

How cold immersion works.

Cold immersion involves placing the body in cooled water for a short, controlled period. The water can be prepared with ice or maintained using dedicated chilling equipment, depending on the type of setup. Unlike infrared heat, the body is in direct contact with the temperature-controlled environment. Water temperature, exposure time and the way the water is cooled can all vary between setups.

A plunge can be cooled manually with ice or connected to dedicated chilling equipment for more controlled water preparation.
